What have I done
What was I thinking
I must be out of my mind
To get on a boat that’s clearly sinking
Like a deer in the headlights
Freaked, scared and stuck
With the impossible task of saving a town that’s down on its luck

I wanna run
Where no one can find me
Fade into the crowd
Where it’s noisy and loud in New York City
I could leave this place forever
Get into my car and go
But a tiny little voice in the back of my head says no

I need a sign
To point me in the right direction
A life that I design
A world where I won’t face rejection
And if all the stars align
I could shine

Maybe I’m close
Maybe this is a test
To get back on the horse, stay the course and hope for the best.
I can see down the road
There are mountains to climb
The sun is going down and I’m running out of time

I’ve got nothing to lose
I might as well just jump in
Get into the game ready to aim and shoot for a win
