What a party, look at all these people
Everyone has someone else, but I'm here alone
I've gotta' break out if I'm gonna' try and start over
Why is it so hard for me just to say hello?

MAYA:
Looking around I recognize so many faces
Yesterday wasn't so long ago
The daily routine seems to always get in the way
Why didn't I just reach out and say hello?

I'm overhearing a series of conversations
Happily married, two kids, and a 401k
On paper it all looks so perfect and tied in a bow
If that's all it took to be happy
I would have been happier long ago
